Assist Station 70 Bethany Beach with a Search - Assawoman Bay

At 16:25 hrs. on Monday, May 26th, the Roxana Vol. Fire Co. was alerted to assist Station 70, Bethany Beach, with a search in the Assawoman Bay. Reports stated that there was an adult and a child on a Jet Ski that was over due returning. Marine 90 went responding with a crew of 4. Shortly after our response, Command 70 advise that the subjects had been located. The jet ski had run up on a sand bar. Command 70 went under control at 17:07. 90 units in service at 17:24. 90 Units Responding: Command90, Marine 90, 90-10.
