House Fire - Roxana Rd & Little Roxana Rd

On Sunday October 11, 2015 at 17:30 Roxana(90), Selbyville(88), & Frankford(76) were dispatched to a reported house fire. EOC received multiple calls of smoke coming from the residence. Chief A. Johnson responded in 90-8, upon arrival he reported smoke showing from all 4 sides of the 2-story house. Engine/Tanker 90-4 arrived on-scene, stretched a 1-3/4" cross-lay and began an aggressive interior attack. Crews encountered thick smoke on the first floor with heavy fire conditions on the second floor. The fire was contained to the second floor and kitchen on the first floor. Ventilation and overhaul was performed and the situation was brought under control at 18:10. Thank you to all the on-scene and the stand-by crews.
