BRUSH FIRE - BURTON FARM ROAD

Thursday, 12:59 hrs.  Brush fire on Burton Farm in rear of the house on an extremely windy day.  The wind was driving the fire toward a house.  Brush truck arrived with 90-15 in command.  Two fire police officers assisted 90-15 and Lt. Brian Parker until additional fire fighters and more equipment arrived. Tanker 90-4 was deployed to supply brush truck and utilized 3/4 of its water supply. The blaze was declared under control and units returned to service at 13:48 hours.
