MVC Lighthouse Road

Sunday, 01:40 hrs.  Roxana VFC was notified of a vehicle accident on Lighthouse Road near Lighthouse Landing.  Upon arrival crews discovered one westbound vehicle had lost control, crossed across the eastbound lanes and collided with a utility pole, snapping the utility pole in half.  Upon arrival, no driver or occupant could be located at the scene, despite considerable damage to the vehicle.   Engine 90-1 attended to the scene, while 90 Rescue and others searched the area for a driver and/or passengers.  Upon determining that no driver or passengers could be found and that the vehicle was safely off the road, 90 units departed.
