MVC Head-on Off-set West Line Road

Wednesday 12:24 hrs. Roxana (Station 90) was alerted to a two-vehicle collision on West Line Rd. near the intersection with Lighthouse Road. Selbyville (Station 88) was also alerted, as was Bishopville, MD (Station 900) and ALS paramedics from SCEMS. First units on the scene discovered one victim trapped in a vehicle; a seriously injured victim outside a vehicle being attended to by a bystander and another victim in the second vehicle. Units from Rescue 90 and Selbyville extricated the entrapped victim. Helicopters were requested but were unavailable. A total of three victims were transported to various hospitals by ground ambulances. Units on the scene included Ambulance 90, Rescue 90, 90-1, two ambulances from Selbyville, a truck from Selbyville, an ambulance from Bishopville, as well as fire police from Roxana, Bethany Beach and Selbyville.
