MVC - Gum Rd. near Roxana Rd.

Wednesday 18:18 hrs.  Roxana was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Gum and Roxana Rds.  Arriving units found a two vehicle MVC on Gum Rd., west of Roxana Rd., with one vehicle blocking the highway and the other vehicle off the edge of the road.  Initially no injuries were reported and the ambulance and rescue equipment left the scene.  Subsequently, the occupants of one vehicle complained of pain and possible injuries.  The ambulance was re-dispatched to the scene and transported two persons to a local hospital.  Fire police remained on the scene, directing traffic, until after the involved vehicles were towed from the scene.  Involved units were Rescue 90, 90-08, 90 Chase Vehicle, Traffic Control 90 and a fire police vehicle.
