MVC; vehicle into the water

On Sunday July 30th, Roxana VFC, SCEMS, DNREC and DSP were alerted for a vehicle accident with the car reported to be in the water. Rescue 90 responded with Chief Uibel and a crew of 6, Utility 90 with Marine 90 responded with a crew of 2. SCEMS arrived on scene and confirmed that there were no patients in the water. The crew from Rescue 90 assisted with patient care and secured the scene until the arrival of DNREC and DSP. Crews remained on scene for approximately 3 hours assisting DSP, DNREC, a Tow Boat US diver and Grays Towing. The vehicle was removed from the canal and units cleared when ready.
